The project consisted of the design, construction, and assembly of a circuit consisting of two zip lines: one 80 meters long and the other 260 meters long, the latter deployed over a 150-meter-wide body of water.
The main technical challenges included laying the cable over the water and drilling into the rock to install a column system that would achieve the necessary height for the course to function properly.
In addition to the installation, a group of 10 students from the UTU Recreation Department were trained to form a team of 2 to 3 instructors responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the activities.
The project was commissioned by the Tourism Department of the Departmental Government of Rivera.
A challenging project that combined technical precision and local training to make possible an accessible and safe adventure experience.
